An enclosed garden to the rear of the property creates great opportunity for a spot of outdoor dining in the summer, whilst a woodburning stove and central-heating turns the cottage into a cosy snug in the winter. The property is full of character, having retained many of its original features, such as exposed beams in the ceilings.

LPG central heating with woodburner in dining room. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, TV, DVD, radio/CD player. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Fuel for woodburner available to purchase locally. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 2 cars. Enclosed garden with patio area and garden furniture. One well-behaved dog welcome at £25 per week. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 2 mins walk, pub 10 mins walk. Please note: Second floor accessed via ten steep steps up thus ensure care is taken. |

The cottage was absolutely lovely, we had a great time. Glaisdale is a little isolated but not a problem if you had a car. Not having holidayed in a cottage before our 3 generations of family had differing views - all were fulfilled.
High View Cottage was compact with all we needed for a comfortable weeks holiday. We all loved the area too.
We were also first timers for Sykes Holidays and have nothing but praise - really helpful both on website and the personal touch over the phone and we will definitely be return customers. Thank you.

Sometimes given the nickname of “God’s Own County” thanks to its lush green countryside and wild expanses of moor land, Yorkshire is the largest county in England. There are many popular seaside resorts along its coastline, including Whitby, Bridlington and Scarborough, as well as quieter villages and working harbours nestled among the rugged cliffs.
